Friends of the Rosary,

Through the parables of Jesus, we discover the priceless value of the Kingdom of Heaven.

He said to his disciples (Matthew 13:44-46):

“The Kingdom of heaven is like a treasure buried in a field,
which a person finds and hides again,
and out of joy goes and sells all that he has and buys that field.
Again, the Kingdom of heaven is like a merchant
searching for fine pearls.
When he finds a pearl of great price,
he goes and sells all that he has and buys it.”

Christ Jesus is inviting us to a radical reordering of our priorities. The Kingdom of Heaven is the treasure, and the pearl has an incomparable value.

Like the merchant, the one who finds it is willing to sacrifice everything – worldly possessions, ambitions, and comforts – to embrace the Kingdom.

It means prioritizing spiritual riches over material wealth, eternal life over fleeting pleasures, and God’s will over our desires. It is a call to a life of discipleship, where Christ is truly Lord of all.
