To achieve spiritual perfection, we have to deny ourselves and follow the way of truth and light, which is the Cross. We can explore all of the ways that society offers or we are able to conceive. None of them will work. The safest for the soul is the Holy Cross of Jesus Christ. God wants that we learn to suffer and surrender entirely to Him. Trials and pain will make us more humble, and that's where we will find peace and real joy. That should be our mission. Ave Maria! Jesus, I Trust In You! + Mikel A. | TheRosaryNetwork.org, New York
• December 8, 2021, Today’s Holy Rosary, YouTube.com/TheRosaryNetwork • Audio Podcast of this Rosary • In Memoriam of Maria Blanca: Testimonials Today, a holy day of obligation, is the solemnity of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Mary had a human father and mother. But her birth was unique, because to become the mother of Jesus, she was enriched with singular grace and privilege by God, preserved immune from the original sin and protected from contracting any personal sin her whole life. She was full of grace at the moment of the annunciation. This was necessary so she would be able to give freely her fiat. From among the descendants of Eve, God chose the Virgin Mary to be the mother of his Son. Adam and Eve were both created immaculate — without original sin or its stain. They fell from grace, and through them, mankind was bound to sin. Jesus and Mary were also conceived immaculate. They remained faithful, and through them, mankind was redeemed from sin. Christ is thus the New Adam, and Mary the New Eve. Ave Maria! Jesus, I Trust In You! Immaculate Conception Pray for Us! + Mikel A. | TheRosaryNetwork.org, New York
• December 7, 2021, Today’s Holy Rosary, YouTube.com/TheRosaryNetwork • Audio Podcast of this Rosary • In Memoriam of Maria Blanca: Testimonials The Father Creator of Heaven and Earth doesn't want any soul to be lost. In this goal, we are called to collaborate. Human existence is all about converting ourselves and converting others into the eternal truth, so we truly enjoy the union with God. In today's reading (Mt 18:12-14), Jesus Christ tells about it. "It is not the will of your Heavenly Father that any of the little ones — meaning sheep that go astray — be lost." The problem that twists your mind is suffering. The struggle and pain we experience confuse us. We forget that suffering is consubstantial to human life, as Jesus showed us through His Passion. In today's Sorrowful Mysteries we reflect upon it. As followers of Jesus and Mary, we model our Christian life around the Cross and the Resurrection. We embrace our Cross understanding that this is the only truth. Ave Maria! Jesus, I Trust In You! + Mikel A. | TheRosaryNetwork.org, New York
• December 6, 2021, Today’s Holy Rosary, YouTube.com/TheRosaryNetwork • Audio Podcast of this Rosary • In Memoriam of Maria Blanca: Testimonials In this season of Advent and on the month dedicated to the Immaculate Conception, the best person we can turn to for help is the Mother of Jesus and our Mother. The preparation of the Blessed Virgin Mary for the birth of Jesus was absolute. Her purity, prayerfulness, and unconditional submission to God’s made Her the role model for humanity. The Most Blessed Mary, all-perfection, is the way to meet the Son of God and nourish our personal relationship with Him. We pray today's Rosary in a group with four friends in Greenwich, Connecticut. • December 5, 2021, Today’s Holy Rosary, YouTube.com/TheRosaryNetwork • Audio Podcast of this Rosary • In Memoriam of Maria Blanca: Testimonials A topic many people like to talk about is the end of the world. We read this season of Advent that the coming of Jesus in a cloud with power and glory will signal the end of time as we know it (Luke 21:20-28). However, the Son of God is coming now through the mystery of the Eucharist to each one of us. We have a living God, in our midst, and we must do an effort to recognize it. Jesus Christ embodies the new world, the new time (Luke 21:5-11). The old, broken world of sin and despair has been defeated by the Cross and the Resurrection. Faith, hope, and charity are our God-given virtues to enjoy the new time in Jesus and Mary. This Advent let’s make ourselves small and ask for forgiveness for the many offenses we commit. Ave Maria!
