John's Gospel alone presents an endless meaning. Now, consider what Jesus does within each and every mind and heart — as long as we open our hearts. How many volumes can be written about every single experience? Our faith is based on a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and His divine Mother, but not on a set of doctrines and ideas like other religions. Jesus wants to speak to each one of us. It's a uniquely individual experience. It's like the sun that heats us individually when we are on a beach. It's the same sun for everyone but the experience is exquisitely unique. Ave Maria! • May 22, 2021, Holy Rosary Today 7:30 pm ET, YouTube.com/TheRosaryNetwork • Audio Podcast available by 7:00 pm ET In twenty centuries of Christianity, demons have twisted the minds of many with false ideas denying that Jesus Christ is the only Son of God and the Catholic Church is His Mystical Body and not just the hierarchy. Across history, there have been many heresies, and they will continue. Our Rosary is our tool of orthodoxy that leads us to the true faith and makes evil spirits flee. The Blessed Virgin Mary gave her Rosary to humanity, through the Spanish priest St Dominic of Guzman, as an instrument of truth to combat the heresy of that time, the Albigensian, in France. In the XIII century, it was called the Marian Psalter. Two centuries later, it would adopt the name of the Rosary. Through her apparition in Fatima, the Virgin Mary Herself confirmed the divine origin of Rosary, an idea that several amazing saints and Popes defended across history. Ave Maria! • May 21, 2021, Holy Rosary Today 7:30 pm ET, YouTube.com/TheRosaryNetwork • Audio Podcast available by 7:00 pm ET The Son of God humbled Himself and experienced the suffering of earthly life. Jesus Christ went further than anyone else by facing death on a cross after brutal physical and psychological torture. Why the Redeemer of the World needed to experience all this extreme pain and how is this related to our daily lives? We reflect upon it every time we pray the Sorrowful Mysteries, as we do today. Jesus Christ carried all of the unspeakable sins of humanity upon Himself and gave his own life as a ramson for our wickedness. Through His merciful love, He defeated all the poison, deceit, and lies of the Evil One. His Resurrection proved that humans were destined for eternity in Heaven in the union with the Holy Trinity and the Blessed Mother. Earthy life would be a temporary, painful test to purity our soul, understand the divine glory and arrive after the resurrection in good shape into the Father. Ave Maria! • May 20, 2021, Holy Rosary Today 7:30 pm ET, YouTube.com/TheRosaryNetwork • Audio Podcast available by 7:00 pm ET Jesus Christ’s prayer to His Father included one request that should be the foundational rock of human aspiration: to be perfect in love. As we read today (John 17:20-26 ), Jesus asked that mankind be united and brought to perfection in imitation of the relationship between the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. The Resurrection shows that divine love is much more powerful than any other dark force in the world, including fear, violence, cruelty, and pride. The first resurrected man Jesus Christ, the new Adam, defeated sin and death and opened an amazing, unexpected chapter in history, full of hope. The new Eve, the Virgin Mary, all-humility, would teach us how the perfect disciple should be. Let’s be open to the Holy Spirit to better understand the glory of God. Ave Maria! • May 19, 2021, Holy Rosary Today 7:30 pm ET, YouTube.com/TheRosaryNetwork • Audio Podcast available by 7:00 pm ET To achieve true peace and joy here on Earth, the only way is to follow Jesus and Mary. When we reject resurrected Jesus and his divine Mother, our life is a mess, full of despair and unnecessary pain. Humanity can try as many alternatives and fancy ideas and models as they wish but none of them work — or will work. We are wired the way we are: to rest in God. In today’s reading (Jn 17:11b-19), Jesus explained that He gave us the word of truth, so we could share God’s joy. But the world hated the truth. We, humans, prefer to live in darkness due to our pride and ignorance. Knowing all of this, Jesus Christ asked the Father not to remove us from Earth but to keep us out of the reach of the Evil One.
