• Feb 18, 2021, Holy Rosary Today 7:30 pm ET, YouTube.com/TheRosaryNetwork • Audio Podcast available by 6:00 pm ET The 40 days of Lent are a preparation for the most significant event in the history of humanity: the Resurrection of Jesus Christ. One day, we all will die and resurrect. Jesus Christ will ask us then what we did for Him. What will be able to say? This season of Lent is an opportunity to remove all the ugly burdens that break our communion with the Truth. We need to fight our laziness and truly repent and convert—as we reflect on the third Luminous Mystery today. These pandemic times are pretty extraordinary in the world. This Lent needs to be unique, historic for our faith, as well. Like Pope Francis said yesterday, we must turn from the slavery of sin to the freedom found in reconciliation with God. Prayer, fasting or penance, and almsgiving are the answer. And if we already pray, let's pray better. Let's turn to Jesus through the intercession of Our Lady of Fatima and experience a different Lent. Ave Maria! [Written by Mikel A. | TheRosaryNetwork.org, New York] ____
• Feb 11, 2021, Holy Rosary Today 7:30 pm ET, YouTube.com/TheRosaryNetwork • Audio Podcast available by 6:00 pm ET On February 11th, 1858, the Virgin Mary appeared, dressed in white, to a poor, fourteen-year-old Marie Bernade Soubirous, St. Bernadette, in a grotto in Lourdes, in the south of France. It was Her first supernatural apparition out of eighteen, until March 25th. The Immaculate Virgin Mary called to personal conversion, prayer, and charity, and recited the Holy Rosary with St. Bernadette. She also announced: “I am the Immaculate Conception.” Since then, Lourdes became a mystical place of pilgrimage. And through Her intercession, many miraculous cures and conversions have taken place here. Lourdes is one of the most important places of grace and spiritual rebirth. Ave Maria! [Written by Mikel A. | TheRosaryNetwork.org, New York] ___ Reflections on Today's Luminous Mysteries in connection with Lourdes: 1st Mystery: Like St. Bernadette in Lourdes, we too open our hearts to the presence of the Mother and the Holy Spirit and we are captivated by the mystery of the Son. 2nd Mystery: The Blessed Mother knows better than anyone else the Will of the Son and the mysterious plan of God. No one better than Holy Mary can convince us to "do whatever he tells you”. 3rd Mystery: The message of Lourdes recalls the words Jesus said at the beginning of his public mission: "Convert and believe in the Gospel, pray and do penance." 4th Mystery: In the Grotto of Lourdes, St. Bernadette was illuminated with a light of grace. We see that the Most Holy Mary is inviting us to follow a path of holiness and perfection. 5th Mystery: The presence of the Blessed Mother is a mystery to honor her Divine Son, especially in the Holy Sacrifice of the Eucharist, the Mass, and the Sacrament of Reconciliation. • Feb 10, 2021, Holy Rosary Today 7:30 pm ET, YouTube.com/TheRosaryNetwork • Audio Podcast available by 6:00 pm ET Our Lady of the Tear of Joy is a miraculous photo that appeared in Cincinnati, Ohio, in 2017, during a party gathering of 200 people set to celebrate the Blessed Mother's birthday, on September 8th. We met with one of the promoters, Maria Vivas, in our daily Rosary prayer. She explained to us that "anyone holding the image while praying the Memorare, experiences physical healing and spiritual conversion if that's in Jesus' Will." Copies of the image of Our Lady of the Tear of Joy have been mailing to prayer groups in the U.S., Canada, and overseas. Many have felt the strong presence of Our Lady as a result of this beautiful polaroid photo. The testimonies of healing and conversions all over the world are amazing. Please check the story, along with the messages of the Virgin Mary, and request copies at the website tearofjoy.org. The video below tells the story of Our Lady, as well. Ave Maria! • February 9, 2021, Holy Rosary Today 7:30 pm ET, YouTube.com/TheRosaryNetwork • Audio Podcast available by 6:00 pm ET It is natural to have doubts. Authentic faith wrestles with doubt from time to time. We're flawed humans, wounded by the original sin. All the saints experienced dryness and even loneliness and darkness in their dwelling to holiness. In his extreme humanity, Jesus Christ thought for a second that His Father abandoned him. The quintessential question is this: when we doubt, are we looking for answers or an excuse to opt-out? Seeking answers will grow our faith. Healthy faith asks questions. We need faith in the absence of certainty. This modern society of ours demands proof and certainty of everything. This thought results in separating millions from God. Let's cultivate the virtue of perseverance, the fruit of the fifth mystery that we pray for today. Ave Maria! [Written by Mikel A. | TheRosaryNetwork.org, New York] __ Today, we pray for the parents of Therese Anne, who is part of our community. They are uncertain about where God may be leading them. We pray for their business and employment opportunities.
• February 8, 2021, Holy Rosary Today 7:30 pm ET, YouTube.com/TheRosaryNetwork • Audio Podcast available by 6:00 pm ET The faith comes to us through Divine grace. The Holy Spirit illuminates us and we receive this gratuitous gift of God. All Christians—Catholics and Protestants—agree on this. However, the idea that we need to do nothing is wrong. First, we need a movement of the will. We must desire to increase our faith. That’s what we proclaim when we pray the first Hail Mary in our Rosary. Also, in the first Glorious Mystery—the Resurrection—we highlight our desire to cultivate the theological virtue of the faith. So far, so good. Second, friends, we need an active and daily effort. We must convince the Holy Trinity about our will with constant prayers and works. In here we need to be patient and perseverant. We will be infused with faith and peace at the right time. And remember to invoke Our Blessed Mother to intercede for us. Ave Maria! [Written by Mikel A. | TheRosaryNetwork.org, New York] ___
